Detection of economy and Investment Committee Member representative Abdel Salam Al-Maliki Saturday, well-drained mobile phone companies 15% of oil revenue, accusing it of violating the regulation that requires investment.
Al-Maliki said at a joint press conference with members of the Committee within the Parliament and attended by agency/information/"mobile phone companies violated item to invest 75% of imports in projects within the country", noting that "these companies drain 15% of oil revenues without the knowledge of the State."
He added that "the number of participants in these companies is 26 million subscribers and the amounts that these companies had transferred outside the country exceeded seven billion dollars were supposed to invest five billion and half a billion dollars in the country.
Maliki called on the communications and Media Commission to "conduct a comprehensive reform process and to prepare a paper providing mechanisms that will work for taxing those companies without harming the citizen and ensure the commitment of the companies the items of agreement." Finished/25
