Parliament ends questioning Minister of Electricity

Shafaq News / Iraqi Parliament has ended on Saturday, interrogation with the Minister of Electricity , Qassim al-Fahdawi after a number of questions were directed to him on issues related to the performance of the ministry and concluded contracts.
According to parliamentary sources, the parliament voted of not being convinced with Fahdawi’s dismissal from his post, and renewed confidence after being convicted with answers of the questions directed to the minister.
The Council began to read and discuss a number of laws on its agenda after the departure of the questioned Minister in the parliament.
Today’s session in addition to questioning Fahdawi , voting on the draft of National Guard Law, discuss the subject of suspicious activities supporting ISIS, discuss the issue of accounts of the displaced people in banks, the first reading of the draft law amending the Code of Criminal Procedure No. 23 of 1971, the first reading of the First Amendment law draft of compensation for those affected by the military operations, military and terrorist operations errors No. (20) for 2009,and the second reading of the amending draft law of the Income Tax Law No. (113) for 1982.
The session will also includes the second reading of the amending draft law the Association of Accountants and Auditors Act, the second reading of the draft law on ratification of trade cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the State of Kuwait Convention , the second reading of the anti-terrorism draft law, and the second reading of the reform of prisoners draft law.
