CoI has refuted what have published by some media outlets of news regarding the issuance of arrest and subpoenas orders against 316 public officials on Tuesday Aug 11, 2015.
CoI has refuted what have published by some media outlets of news regarding the issuance of arrest and subpoenas orders against 316 public officials on Tuesday Aug 11, 2015.
The Commission confirmed in a press release that it refutes such baseless news by some media outlets including Al-Ghadeer Channel, stressing the need for ensuring accuracy by the national mass media, depending CoI`s official website for its news and keeping away from unofficial sources.
Some of the media outlets, including Al-Ghadeer Channel and its website has published on Tuesday Aug 11, 2015 an untrue news entitled (Issuance of 316 arrest orders and subpoenas against 316 officials, Farouq Al-A`araji at the forefront) claiming that it took the news from a source from CoI, which led CoI to totally deny such news.
Noteworthy to mention that CoI had previously announced that some have started making up rumors about CoI in an attempt to distract it from performing its national role in fighting corruption and corrupts, especially after the drastic measures taken by CoI during the last three months
