He stressed Jumaili upon receiving the governor of Baghdad, Ali al-Tamimi that the economic crisis and the war against terrorism has affected about largely on the implementation of the Strategic projects in Baghdad and other provinces .. He explained that the ministry is making great efforts to ensure the implementation of a direct prejudice to the lives of people of strategic projects, including service projects and infrastructure Infrastructure
He explained that the problem we are facing in the completion of projects is the lack of financial allocations in the investment side with a big and heavy financial obligations, including the dues of oil companies that have been contracted within the framework of the oil licensing rounds as well as payable dues of what has been implemented by the Contractors ongoing projects companies in the whole of Iraq ..
He pointed out that the ministry has worked on a review of all ongoing projects and put them within the new priorities take into account the financial possibilities available to the country Mantj him to delete 296 projects and postpone the 2169 project .. pointing out that under this procedure has been reducing the size of the government of 268 trillion dinars financial obligations to about 159 trillion dinars
Jumaili He pointed out that the Ministry of Planning is currently working on the development of appropriate checks and mechanisms for the implementation of projects on credit through to make way for local governments in the provinces to contract with good potential for the implementation of new projects in the infrastructure sector companies .. calling on the provinces to take advantage of this side and work on the implementation of an economic return on my services and projects at the same time
For his part, the governor of Baghdad, Ali al-Tamimi said the economic crisis cast its adverse effects on the size and type of projects implemented in the province, the province has prepared more than 450 new projects in various aspects of life but have not been put into effect because of the economic conditions of the country
