Twilight News / Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Mohammad Xiaa Sudan announced Thursday the adoption of a draft pension law and social security for workers after some necessary adjustments to its paragraphs.
The Sudanese during chaired an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Labour and Social Affairs in the presence of the Undersecretary for Labour Affairs Faleh al-Amiri and general managers and representatives of the Iraqi Federation of Industries and the trade unions today, the council voted on the amendments proposed by members of some of the paragraphs of the draft was passed unanimously and then will be submitted to the Council of Ministers for the purpose of voting upon.
He explained that the pension law and social security for workers is the corner based on the issue of ensuring the rights of workers and activating the private sector and the organization of the work environment, pointing out that the council has completed his duty with regard to the vote on the draft and remains the decision of the government to be discussed in the light of the reforms of existing as well as Parliament.
He said the Sudanese that the current stage requires the advancement of the workers and improve their living conditions in light of the challenges seen in the country led to the high poverty rate, indicating that the first slice slide workers affected at this stage are offset the salaries are not commensurate with the quality of life.
