President of a coalition called the rule of law Nuri al-Maliki on Saturday, everyone to respond decisively to the conferences that incite "sectarian sedition", warning of conspiracies against Iraq and campaigns aimed at "national and religious symbols."
Maliki said in a statement issued on the sidelines of a meeting with a delegation from the Council of Unified clans Iraq, said that "the tribes in Iraq represents a slice important social component through to stand by the state and addressing the challenges suspicious and projects aimed at the unity of Iraq."
He added that "the situation of the Iraq today is no less dangerous than the situation that accompanied the start of the twentieth revolution, what still plots hatched against this country and the distortion and falsification campaigns targeting national and religious symbols still continuing, so the increased awareness and vigilance of the ongoing plots will contribute to make it fail." .
He denounced al-Maliki "the attempts by some countries in the region to interfere in Iraqi affairs by setting up conferences incite sectarian strife and the laying of the differences between the Iraqi people", calling on all to "respond firmly and stand against those projects and attempts, which calls for dividing and tearing Iraq."
He explained, "We have to maintain our national unity through respect for all nationalities and creeds and consideration of national belonging to Iraq is all about."
