Committee announced the parliamentary economy and investment, on Monday, the President of the Republic Fuad Masum authentication law on public companies, while confirming that the amendment to the law is a quality leap for the development of the private sector and the development of national domestic industry.
Committee Chairman Jawad al-Bolani said in an interview to the (long-Presse), "The President of the Republic Fuad Masum, ratified the Fifth Amendment to the Law on Public Enterprises No. 22 of 1997, which vote for it in the House of Representatives," noting that "this law opened the doors to the companies with the participation of companies Iraqi, Arab and foreign discreet to carry out its work in Iraq. "
He said al-Bolani, said: "This amendment is a boom quality for the development of the private sector and give it an opportunity to develop a national domestic industry," adding, "The committee submitted proposals for the development and attention to industrial projects which help to provide a ration card items and everything related to food security."
The Iraqi Council of Representatives approved on the first of July 2015 the Fifth Amendment to the Law on Public Enterprises No. 22 of 1997.
Chairman of the Parliamentary Commission of Economy and continued that "it is necessary to secure those materials through industry and agriculture during this period, rather than the government conduct an annual amount of $ 5 billion on these items and buy them at the disposal of the industry".
He Bolani, that "the Second Amendment to the investment law introduced facilities to promote industrial and agricultural to provide materials ration card", stressing that "the proposal for the committee also included the promotion of materials needed by the Ministry of Electricity and companies funded through local factories, industry and stop imported from abroad."
