Iraqi Airways get a loan of $ 2 billion for the purchase of new aircraft

Twilight News / Ministry of Transport announced on Tuesday that Iraqi Airways affiliate received a loan of $ 2 billion from a US bank to finance the purchase of modern aircraft.
He said Transport Minister Baqir al-Zubaidi said in a statement seen by Twilight News that the Iraqi Airlines got a loan of $ 2 billion from a US bank to finance the purchase of modern aircraft of type Boeing 777 and Dreambox to Einerz.
Zubaidi was speaking during a meeting with the delegation of the Association of Travel and Tourism in Iraq, headed by Abdul Amir Al-Kassab, Vice President of the Association and the presence of technical agent of the Ministry and a number of specialists in the Iraqi Airways in the areas of accounts and automated booking and control, pricing and international organizations.
Al-Zubaidi said that the loan will add advanced capabilities and supportive of the company in addition to the work on the completion of the four halls of the Baghdad airport, which will increase the absorption of the largest for travelers.
He added that the number of passengers on board the Iraqi Airways arrived during the first half of 2015 million passengers.
The minister said that Iraqi Airways is witnessing a transition towards a promising tomorrow in the fields of aviation fleet after that many modern aircraft, which represents the latest aircraft in the world after dormant for more than 25 years' income.
Iraq has a modern fleet of passenger aircraft consisting of 28 Boeing aircraft from the US and Canadian model Bompardo newly imported after the lifting of the siege imposed on the country in 2003.
