AGRICULTURE: DELAY DUES PEASANTS HAMPER PRODUCTION

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - warned Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture Ghazi slave, to delay the launch of the financial dues of farmers by the finance and trade ministries, will hinder the process of agricultural production for the next season.
The slave's (IMN) "we call upon the Ministries of Finance and Commerce launched dues peasants, to them of the requirements and needs for the purchase of seeds, fertilizers, Rent Agricultural mechanisms for next season, and all this requires an amount of money to the farmer in order to live up to agricultural production to the required level."
And decided to Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi earlier, the allocation of 5 trillion dinars to revitalize agriculture and development, through the granting of agricultural loans to farmers to develop agricultural projects to meet the needs of the country.
The slave explained that "the Ministry of Agriculture began in coordination with the Ministry of Commerce for the payment of the peasants in the form of meals, but should be speeded up, regardless of all the money to the farmers soon."
The chairman of the Committee on Agriculture and Water parliamentary Furat al-Tamimi earlier, the presence of the Ministry of Agriculture's decision to ban import of agricultural products that are available locally to protect the national product and support for the agricultural sector and protect hard "currency the dollar."
