Chairman of the parliament directed follow-up activation of the Compulsory Education Law

Twilight News / face of the Presidency of the Council of Representatives member Hamoudi on Sunday to follow up on the parliamentary education committee to activate the Compulsory Education Law, in response to the directives of the Supreme religious authority and the growing proportion of illiteracy among the people of the country.
Hamoudi and called in a statement for Twilight News reported, the Committee on "cooperation with the Ministry of Education to expedite the implementation of this law because of its importance in creating and building conscious generation and promotion of cultural, social, and cognitive level among all segments of Iraqi society."
He said First Deputy Chairman of the Council on the importance of intensifying various media and civil society organizations in addition to the efforts of the relevant institutions in the administration of tariff seminars on the law and the creation of a suitable climate contributes to encourage citizens in different regions to keep pace with the educational process.
The Central Bureau of Statistics in the Ministry of Planning announced on Tuesday that the illiteracy rate among the displaced Iraqis came to 14.3 percent in 2014.
