{Baghdad: Euphrates News} A member of the Committee on Agriculture and Water parliamentary Ali al-Badri, said on Tuesday that the agricultural sector suffers from a "big conspiracy", referring to "the existence of some of the blocks and senior in the government, parliament and the participants therein in favor of it."
He said al-Badri told {Euphrates News} today that "the agricultural sector suffers from a large plot, where there are no budgets regional countries depend primarily on the export of agricultural products to other countries, including Iraq."
He noted that "in the case of the advancement of agricultural reality in Iraq, will be harmed those countries significantly," stressing "the existence of blocks and senior in the government and the parliament in favor of the plot, and working for Alaa and night in order not to the advancement of agricultural and industrial sector in Iraq."
He attributed the reasons for this "to own the largest companies such figures in Iraq, but that the owners have the leaders," stressing that "Iraq has all the ingredients for success in these sectors."
He stressed "the need to form a higher council for water, headed by Prime Minister and Minister Alkhaddmyin to go to Turkey; to sign a permanent agreement on water releases for Iraq."
The supreme religious authority had confirmed earlier on the importance of revitalizing the agricultural and industrial sectors, stressing that the weakness of economic planning, and the lack of an integrated strategy to provide financial resources for the country's non-oil-eighths aspect of corruption.
