Agricultural comprehensive assessment of the initiative since its inception and auditing money spent on them.
BAGHDAD / Obelisk: demanded the parliamentary Committee on Agriculture and Water, on Wednesday, a comprehensive assessment of the initiative of Agriculture and auditing money spent on them, while confirming monitoring major irregularities in the initiative.
The head of the Committee Furat al-Tamimi in an interview with local media and pursued "obelisk", "The central government has spent more than two billion dollars to support the agricultural initiative in all provinces since 2008, but it did not come tangible fruits of the improvement of the agricultural sector or animal according to what meets the ambitious ".
Tamimi called for "a comprehensive assessment of agricultural initiative since its inception and auditing money spent it," asserting that "the committee spotted irregularities in explicit mechanisms to take advantage of trends in the money away from the framework of strengthening and development of the agricultural sector capacity."
The central government launched in July of 2007, the agricultural initiative in order to strengthen the capacity of the agricultural sector by giving farmers financial loans.
