Trade-based laboratory testing to demonstrate the safety of food products

{Baghdad: Euphrates News}, Minister of Commerce Mlas Mohammed Abdul Karim announced the adoption of laboratory testing services in the ministries of health and planning, in addition to the screening devices in the Ministry of Commerce to show the validity of the materials supplied to calculate the ration card, and before delivery to the ministry stores in all provinces of the country.
He stressed Abdul Karim in a statement issued by the Ministry of Commerce received by the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it, that "the ministry and for the full safety investigation, and ensure the safety of food distributed under the ration card items for all citizens decided to examine those materials in the laboratory testing of the Ministries of Health and checking devices, and matching the results of the tests with the results of laboratory testing services in the ministry companies, approved by the ration card law. "
He added that "The ministry received those materials on the report confirms the suitability for human consumption through a committee composed of the Inspector General, Commercial and control, and laboratories in the ministry standardization and quality control devices."
He pointed out that "the acceptance of these materials is associated with contractual terms and contractual specifications, and suitability for human consumption by the test results which are scrutinized in three Iraqi ministries and organs, including organs of quality control in the Ministry of Planning."
And that "in case of rejection of material unsuitable company fined with the amount of the load with the confiscation of the letter of guarantee, and the inclusion of the company in the black list, and will not be dealt with in Iraq."
Abdul Karim stressed that "effective measures taken by the ministry to curb fraud operations and manipulation may resort have some contractors, or agreements with some weak souls to pass the material of lower quality of materials supplied by the ministry of advanced international origins in the food industry."
