Twilight News Iraq / said that military officials are involved in intelligence and security cooperation with Russia in Baghdad, Iran and Syria to confront the threat posed by the organization of the Islamic state.
A statement from the Joint Special Operations Command of the Iraqi Armed Forces, said the agreement came "With the growing concern of Russia and the presence of thousands of terrorists from Russia, who are criminal acts with Daash (the organization of the Islamic state)."
The move Russia's influence in the Middle East may increase. Russia strengthened its military intervention in Syria in recent weeks at a time in which to press Damascus to join international efforts to fight al-Islamic state, a demand rejected by Washington.
And an increase of risk in the circle in Syria's civil war four years ago forced Moscow and Washington to expand diplomatic channels to communicate with them.
Critics have urged President Barack Obama to become more decisive in the Middle East, especially towards the Syrian conflict, they say, the lack of a clear US policy granting organization Islamic State opportunities for expansion.
Iraqi officials denied on Friday reports of a coordination cell in Baghdad, the Russians and the Syrians and Iranians military commanders set up in order to work with the Shiite militias backed by Iran and is a critical weapon in the battle against al-Iraq an Islamic state.
The Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari said in New York on Friday that Iraq did not receive any Russian military advisers to help the troops, but called on the coalition that led the United States to increase the objectives of organizing the bombing of an Islamic state in Iraq.
