Biden assures Abadi about the American support for Iraq by armament, training and face declining oil prices

Shafaq News / The United States renewed on Wednesday its commitment in arming and training Iraqi forces and provide counseling to it in the war being waged against ISIS terrorist
organization which controls large areas north and west of the country since the mid of last year.
This came during a meeting between Prime Minister ,Haider al-Abadi on the sidelines of meetings of the General Assembly of the United Nations with US Vice President Joe Biden, according to a statement issued by the Iraqi government.
The statement said that during the meeting , it was emphasized on the continued support of Iraq in the areas of armament, training and counseling as well as support efforts to address the consequences of falling oil prices by diversifying the sources of spending , increase exports and building the needed capabilities for the success of the reforms.
The statement added that developments on the ground to fight ISIS terrorist organization were discussed.
