NATO calls on Russia to respect its airspace after the violation of its aircraft to the atmosphere of Turkey

The Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg, in a statement that Russia's actions do not contribute to the security and stability of the region, calling on them to full respect of the airspace of NATO, and to avoid escalation of tension with the alliance.
Stoltenberg also called on Russia to take the necessary steps to align its efforts with the international community's efforts in the face of the organization "Daash" terrorist steps.
Stoltenberg's remarks came following his meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Feridun Sinarla Ihsanoglu, in which the two sides dealt with the recent military actions of Russia in Syria and the region, and "unacceptable violations" of Turkish airspace by Russian fighter planes, according to the statement.
Stoltenberg stressed, that NATO remains committed to the security of Turkey.
The Turkish Foreign, issued earlier yesterday that Russian military aircraft violated its airspace, over the mandate of the Htaa on 3 October this month, and departed into Syria after it was intercepted by fighter jets of the Turkish Air Force.
