For the first time .. Baghdad secretly discussing with the Baath and Sunni opposition factions

Shafaq News / A report published in London for secret talks in which the Iraqi government and participated Mnahioha of the year, and said it was the first to take place since the fall of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein's regime, as was the absence of Sunni politicians and imprisoned.
The report said that the first round of talks took place in the Qatari capital Doha earlier this month, followed by two weeks after a second round in Tanzania, and decided to hold three more rounds in Riyadh, Paris and Doha.
The newspaper said (Andipandant) of London in its report that it was able to see pictures of the meetings that took place in Tanzania attended by representatives of Western and African, as well as representatives of the Iraqi government. She added that these meetings take place under the auspices of the United States and the United Nations.
The report says that "the Iraqi government opened this secret talks with Iraqi Sunni figures linked to militias and elements of the former Baathist regime in an attempt to include them in the ranks of the army, and get their support for the fight against al-Daash."
Insiders say he has been significant progress, in the first meeting of its kind representatives of the former Baathist regime, who insisted on rejecting the independence of the Kurdistan Region of full self-government and that Iraq remains fully unified involved in it and so the first stumbling block has been exceeded.

It was also during the two rounds of talks in-depth research about how they will organize anti-Daash, where representatives of the student year not sharing the Shiite militias in the liberation of the Sunni areas in Mosul, many of its residents feel betrayed by the Iraqi Shiite army commanders mainly after fleeing last year in Daash face attack, as fears that the population of Mosul year may choose to support the organization rather than liberated by Shiites.
The report says that it is hoped that the meetings will lead to a Sunni role in government after years of exclusion from the political process, as well as pushing many Sunni politicians and civilians in the prisons, which has led to popular protests in their areas which led ultimately to the rise of the organization (Daash) .
The report concludes that the Iraqi government has been subject to pressure from the United States to participate in these events hoping to fix the gap and divisions between Shi'ite-led government and the Sunni community, and unite in the war against Daash and end its presence in Iraq.
