Greece: to facilitate the granting of visa official Iraqi delegations

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - Greece confirmed its commitment to strengthen relations with Iraq in various fields.
The Information Office of the Iraqi Foreign Minister, said that Ibrahim al-Jaafari met with Greece's ambassador to Iraq Dionysius Kevitus, where they were during the meeting to review the conduct of relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing the benefit of the two friendly peoples.
Jaafari stressed that "the Iraqi diplomatic seeking to establish better relations with various countries of the world and activating the interests and face common dangers," noting "the importance of providing the necessary humanitarian assistance to Iraqi refugees who fled from terrorist acts."
For his part, Kevitus pointed out that his country is seeking to strengthen relations with Iraq, explaining that "the Consular Section at the Embassy of Greece in Baghdad will soon be opened; which will facilitate the granting of visas for official delegations wishing to visit Greece."
Kevitus stressed his country's keenness to provide the necessary services and humanitarian assistance to Iraqi refugees who migrate to Europe via Greece.
