Parliamentary Integrity demanding accountability abusers banks to buy the currency

BAGHDAD / WAP / The Commission on Parliamentary Integrity, Wednesday, lagging the need for banks and accounting of past on the law in the process of buying hard currency and smuggled out of Iraq.
Committee Chairman MP Talal Khudair Zobaie at a joint press conference with a number of members of the Committee and attended by news agency Baghdad International / WAP / "The Integrity Committee hosted the Governor of the Central Bank on the Keywords and his accompanying delegation, to discuss the central bank's fiscal policy, and the obligations incumbent on Iraq as a member of the International Monetary Fund, and the mechanism of the fight against the smuggling of foreign currency in ways that circumvent the law. "
He added that "it was discussing the mechanisms that must be taken by the central bank, to deter violation of private banks to the controls and regulations," adding that "the debate dealt with banks lagging in payments of Baadaat its customers, and to address letters of banking security, political and central bank followed in the currency sale compared neighboring countries. "
"It has also been discussed in the process of the advancement of the Iraqi economy and trade, and plans of the Bank's future in light of the current crisis," noting that "it was agreed with the governor of the bank to deal with illegal methods, by the banks in the process of selling hard currency", pointing out that "debate also dealt with the damage resulting from the use of loans, in return for interest of foreign banks, and the mechanism of control over the rate of the Iraqi dinar, investigation and audit and follow-up phantom companies not registered with the Ministry of Commerce that share the currency auction."
Zobaie explained that "it was inquiring from the central bank governor on legal mechanisms, in hard currency from abroad to transform Iraq," stressing "the need to lagging banks accounting of past and on the law in the purchase of currency and smuggling operation out of Iraq" .
