Putin: We make no distinction between Sunni and Shiite

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sunday that the Russian mission in Syria aims to stabilize the legitimate authorities in the country, was quoted by the news agency "Interfax" the Russian official.
He said Putin, saying "Russian military ground operations in Syria unlikely option," pointing out that "the use of Caliber missiles against terrorists in Syria shows our willingness to use sophisticated weapons if the need arises."
He added: "Russia does not differentiate between Sunni and Shiite, is trying to claim the opposite is not true, we do not want to enter into a religious war in the Syrian conflict."
The Russian president added, "We informed and international partners including the United States about our plans in Syria, and that all that conducted by Russian forces in Syria, whether by land or by air is not pure chance or random but conducted in accordance with the plans" .anthy 29 / d 25
