Iraqi forces have become closer to the city about nine miles away, and became possible thanks to the warm weather and improved training and new equipment for the forces that helped them break through mine fields and Daash overcome other obstacles.

Warren continued, 'We want to see some action as soon as possible, and we believe that this is the right time for the last push in the gray', noting that 'the Iraqi forces now encircling the city and has four major plans to enter the city center'.
