"BAGHDAD / Sky Press: German government is preparing to support the EU proposal for Turkey to "safe countries list."
"Reuters" quoted a senior official in the German government saying, seen by "Sky Press," that "I can imagine that in the broader context would logically put Turkey on the list of safe countries," but said that "Germany does not expect a decision in this regard during summit The European Union in Brussels Thursday October 15 ".
He guessed that "will be discussed topic during the bilateral talks between German Chancellor Angela Merkel with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Ahmed Davutoglu during her visit Turkey Sunday, Turkey requested be placed on the list of safe countries."
