Barzani heads to Iran on Saturday to attend a security conference

Orcoche In a statement, he said, "The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government Nechirvan Barzani will visit the Islamic Republic of Iran on 17 October of this official invitation to participate in the Munich security conference which is being held in Tehran."
Orcoche added that "the conference will be held in the capital Tehran in coordination with the International Institute for Political Research," pointing out that "the conference will see extensive international involvement to discuss the agreements concluded between Iran and Western countries and many topics, research and themes related to this issue."
