BAHR AL-ULUM: THE REVIVAL OF THE NATIONAL OIL COMPANY WILL PROVIDE SIGNIFICANT FUNDS FOR IRAQ

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - Commission on oil and energy parliamentary member Ibrahim Bahr al-Ulum called for the revival of the national oil company, pointing out that it will provide significant funds to the treasury of Iraq and the oil sector will witness a quantum leap in his career.
Uloum said for (IMN) that "the charge of oil policy in Iraq and the oil ministry drawing, and thus is decided by the vision in international forums and in OPEC decides to Iraq's needs in production and export."
He added that "investment tied to the oil companies and the oil ministry's policy," noting that "investment companies have no right to determine the export and production policies."
He Bahr al-Ulum "We are trying to renew the oil policy and updated in line with the policy of reform, which purports to Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi achieved in Iraq," calling for "the return of the national oil company, responsible for all the extraction and marketing of Iraqi oil companies."
"The benefits are the separation of the implementation process from the process of policy-making, where the Ministry of Oil remains in charge of policy-making, supervision and regulation, with the executive process is the prerogative of the national oil company as a holding company that owns the extractive companies and oil marketing companies, the only window to deal with foreign companies as well as the only window for the marketing of oil. "
The Oil Ministry said, earlier, that the alliance of investment companies led by the company (Kuwait Aanerjee) began oil production from the area exploratory ninth in the city of Basra by five thousand barrels per day.
