Oil: amend some paragraphs oil licensing rounds the next phase

The Committee on oil and energy parliamentary possibility of modifying certain paragraphs of contracts for oil licensing rounds during the next phase, especially with the rising imports of companies licensing rounds owing to lower oil prices and higher expenses contracts which necessitated review and discuss scientific debate.
He said Ares Abdullah told the News Agency obtained our economy that the Committee had already spoken on the subject of oil licensing rounds that resulted in damage to Iraq since 2014 because of low world oil prices exacerbating the problem and add new financial burdens on the current Government, which is to benefit international oil companies operating in the country.
The Commission in cooperation with the Finance Committee discussed continuously possible solutions and then agreeing with the oil Ministry to overcome this problem.
And between Abdullah that proposals amend certain paragraphs of the contracts after the companies approached the Ministry of oil after Iraq material damage resulting in the accumulation of amounts owed for those companies and lack of Government imports of oil.
The parliamentary Finance Committee recommended in its meeting this week formed a Subcommittee on the subject of oil licensing rounds
