SOMO plans to import more than 1.8 million tons of gas oil next year

Reuters quoted sources from the oil sector, Wednesday, that the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) intends to import more than 1.8 million tons of gas oil for delivery in 2016 and that it was likely to be the main supplier company Vitol.
It seeks "Sumo to import 1.836 million tons of gas oil which contains 500 ppm of sulfur for delivery in the port of Khor Al-Zubair in the period from the first of January until 31 December."
And it provided "Vitol lowest bidder among seven companies premium amounted to about $ 5.70 a barrel above the average of Middle East crude prices, according to the sources."
One source said that "other companies that bids are Ja.as. Caltex, South Korea and Oman International Trade and China's Unipec made trade arm of Sinopec and Intasko commercial arm of Lukoil, BP and Glencore Energy" .anthy 29 / d 25
