President of the Parliament, "objected" to the new salary law and demands to be more in agreement with the Constitution

Speaker of Parliament objected Saleem al-Jubouri, the decision of the prime minister, Haydar al-Abadi, about the blessings of the new salary, demanding that it is in accordance with the Constitution and not to overdo the Iraqi competencies.
He Jubouri said in a statement its commitment to the constitution, stressing that the task of the parliament is to enact laws and abide by with the rest of the authorities.
Iraqi officials and university professors refused to edit the new salary ladder, and went out sit-ins and demonstrations against him, calling for accountability spoilers instead of reducing employees' salaries.
