Barzani: The four parties do not know what they want on the issue of Kurdistan's presidency

Shafaq News / President of Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), Nechirvan Barzani said that the leaders of the four Kurdish parties ; Patriotic Union of Kurdistan
, Change Movement , the Islamic Union and the Islamic Group are confused and do not know what they want on the issue of presidency of the region.
Barzani said in a press statement, that those parties initially resorted to the Parliament of the region but were unable to gain enough votes to resolve the issue of the presidency in its favor and are the same that do not know what they want in this regard.
The Prime Minister also declared as in the statement of the President of the Region, Massoud Barzani as saying that he is prepared to remain in office for another two years because of security conditions witnessed by Kurdistan Region of war against ISIS.
The Prime Minister quoted Barazani as saying that if those parties didn’t accept this then they have to submit their candidates for the office of the presidency and we will welcome them but if they do not have candidates , we give priority to face ISIS.
Nechirvan Barzani added that it is supposed for the Kurdish parties to give President Barzani two more years to remain in office, then general election to take place , someone will win and we will congratulate him.
He said that the issue of presidency of the region should be resolved through dialogue and understanding In the case of the failure of the parties and the Kurdish forces to reach an agreement in this regard, President , Massoud Barzani has asked legally to remain in office for another two years because the war against ISIS terrorist organization that is still continuous and the organizations' threatens on the security of region have not been eliminated.
