Barzani says Austin: Hawija, landing a blow to the prestige of Daash

Baghdad - INA / The head of the Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, on Friday Hawija operation to free the hostages quality step in the field of coordination and cooperation between the international coalition and the Peshmerga forces in the war against Daash.
The presidency of the region on its website that Barzani "met with the Central Command, the US military commander Lloyd Austin," adding that "the two sides discussed the provision of military supplies to the Peshmerga forces and prepare for the Liberation of Mosul and field conditions in the battlefronts against Daash in Anbar and Peggy."
Austin praised the "sacrifices and successful steps to Peshmerga forces in the war against Daash," adding that "the joint operation to free the hostages evidence of the high level of coordination between the two sides."
For his part, Barzani said Hawija process as "a qualitative step in the field of coordination and cooperation between the Alliance and the Peshmerga forces in the war against Daash," referring to it as "a blow to the prestige of Daash".
