Kuwait plans to build 500 housing units for displaced people in Iraqi Kurdistan

Kuwait Red Crescent Society plans to build a camp for displaced people in the Iraqi Kurdistan region includes 500 housing units.
The Disaster Management and Emergency Association Alal Red Kuwaiti director Joseph Fahd Al Maraj in a press interview that "in the near future and our plan in order to alleviate the suffering of displaced Iraqis Assembly will, in coordination with the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government, the largest camp building to house the displaced Iraqis in the region".
Maraj said that "the camp includes 500 housing units a caravans can accommodate a large number of displaced families as well as the necessary service facilities."
The camp is the largest project Tndzth Kuwait Red Crescent Society is one among charitable projects carried out by the State of Kuwait in the Kurdistan region.
"The assistance offered under the attention of the State of Kuwait relief victims where the State of Kuwait has allocated $ 200 million for the relief of displaced Iraqis within the relief to the Iraqi people under the campaign slogan (Kuwait by your side)."
Kuwaiti official revealed that "the project will be the beginning of a larger group projects to serve the afflicted and the needy in the region."
And is home to the Kurdistan region, according to official statistics about a million and a half million displaced people divided between 48 camps to house the displaced while the rest reside within the districts, counties and cities.
