Deterrent measures to curb attacks on doctors

stressed Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Rahman Issa Hassan on the need to take deterrent measures; to curb attacks on hospitals and their employees. A statement by the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers "Baghdad News" received a copy of it, that "the General Chamber of operations of the Secretariat and the Department of follow-up of government and coordination of views concerned of the Ministries of Health and the Interior to protect health facilities and medical staff organized a meeting, where the meeting came out with several recommendations, including a series of new measures contribute to provide adequate protection for government facilities to ensure the safety of doctors from the attacks, which are also subject to abuses and the kidnapping of physical and blackmail, and through cooperation shared between the relevant authorities and its subsidiary bodies. " The Cabinet has directed the Secretariat and the ministries of defense, interior, health work under Resolution No. (379) taken in its forty-first at the end of last month on reducing attacks on health institutions. It also provides recommendations on the demand of the authorities of all relationship, and tribal leaders , and civil society organizations, ministries, and other stakeholders to work within the human spaces education, awareness, and to warn about the seriousness of the above, and demand from various media to take a role in the same direction.
