Follow-up - and babysit - Legal Committee of Parliament announced, Monday, that Parliament will take over soon from the government project of dual nationality law, as shown that the law prohibits any person holding a second nationality from holding any senior post in the State, or to stand for election, confirmed the presence of a political majority on the approval.
He said committee member MP Ibtisam Hilali "There is a package of draft laws have been returned to the government and it will be sent before the last of the House of Representatives, in the coming days," adding that "it is within the laws of this project dual nationality law."
Hilali "The law prohibits any person holding a second nationality from holding any senior position or stand for elections," asserting "the existence of a political majority to approve this project."
