Baghdad and Tehran sign agreement to export Iranian gas to Iraq

Baghdad - INA / signed Baghdad and Tehran, on Wednesday, an agreement under which Iran exports natural gas to Basra in Iraq, for a period of 6 years.
The Assistant of the Iranian oil minister to sign, Hamid Reza Iraqi, and Assistant Minister of Electricity of Iraq, Khalid Hassan Saleh, attended by Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh.
The Convention stipulates, that Iran exports 20 million cubic meters of gas to Basra, Iraq in the cold seasons, and 35 million cubic meters in the hot season, for a period of 6 years.
Iran and begin implementation of the Convention the export of seven million cubic meters of gas in the first phase, that is to fulfill the full amount agreed on three stages.
