The Ministry of Commerce for a future plan to provide food vocabulary in terms of the required qualities and quantities, according to the country's need of these materials as well as improve quality and improve the ration card items imported from the global origins and direction of the companies in the private sector
The ministry said in a statement to its press office that the plan also includes the expansion of foreign economic relations in order to link Iraq to the outside world through a focus on the continued holding of bilateral agreements and joint committees for cooperation in the field of investment, trade and industry as well as the aspiration of the ministry for the completion of Iraq's accession to WTO membership requirements to open new horizons and the practice of commercial traffic because of the organization's role in the joint economic openness and trade of goods and services and exchange of experiences between Iraq and the world.
He said the ministry statement, "Priority is given utmost importance for the advancement of the process of economic development through the development of the private sector to secure a free efficient economy depends on your activity mainly in turn leads to secure jobs for workers and the foundations of the Law on Foreign Investment and the way they serve the economic reconstruction process."
Adding that the ministry is trying to find a trade and economic policy fit with the shift towards market policy to promote and activate and support the private sector in economic activities and makes that policy with the general economic policy of the country and to support the development of foreign economic relations and to provide food security for citizens, in addition to providing strategic inventories, which would guarantee the possibility of responding to crises and disasters.
