Parliamentary Energy reveal corruption in a contract with a German company and the Ministry of Oil

The Commission on oil and energy parliamentary, that the oil ministry contracted with the German RP company to equip 14 of turbo-pump to the Faw oil depot, is matching the operating conditions for the ports of export, pointing to the existence of indicators of corruption in the contract in particular, and it costs the state more than a billion dollars.
A member of the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary Ali Faisal al-Fayyad told a news conference that the German pumps that have been installed turned out to be useless, explaining that: This command makes Iraq loses its financial resources from oil revenues, which was supposed to be exported through those pumps.
He said Fayad said Iraq will bear's commitment to pay financial compensation to companies licensing rounds as a result of lack of export oil extracted from the FAO fields ability, pointing out that this contract makes the Commission prove that there are indications of corruption which especially and it costs the state more than a billion dollars.
Fayad said that the export facilities do not benefit from those turbines, blaming officials in the Ministry of Oil and the way they have been contracted with the German company.
He explained that the oil ministry is able to solve this problem because of the lack of conformity of the turbine is equipped with the terms of the contract, stressing that "in case of change orders on the contract it would cost the state money" and extend the period of extra processing. "
