BAGHDAD / Obelisk: Committee announced Awqaf and Religious Affairs, Sunday, for the establishment of a national body for the protection of peaceful coexistence and the fight against terrorism and extremism.
Committee Chairman MP Azim and Healing at a news conference in the House of Representatives, "We announce the formation of the supreme body of Peaceful Coexistence and the fight against terrorism." Noting that he "will be displayed for the ratification of the Law Commission, as there will be structural to the whole of Iraq for the body."
He added that he and Healing "has the blessing of the body of the Iraqi Council of Representatives and religious authorities, and there are good blessing them."
The Committee of Awqaf and Religious Affairs parliamentary, in the October 31, 2015, for it moves in the writing of a proposed law to form a higher national commission for the protection of peaceful coexistence in the country, confirmed the existence of political consent.
