Jordan's King Abdullah II said his country is seeking to extend the completion of the Iraqi crude oil pipeline from the ports of Basra, southern Iraq to export terminals in the port of Aqaba and the Egyptian ports
A statement Jordanian Royal Court, King Abdullah expressed during a meeting with Iraq's oil minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, and Minister of Petroleum and the Egyptian Mineral Resources, Tariq Al-Mulla, from the "aspiration of Jordan for the completion of a project to extend the seminal Iraqi oil pipeline residence between Basra and Aqaba access to land and coasts Egyptian ".
King Abdullah noted the importance of these projects to link the interests of the Arab countries and peoples and to meet the challenges faced by the energy sector.
It is scheduled to transport crude oil pipeline from the giant Rumaila field in Basra to export terminals in the port of Aqaba.
There were Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, a tripartite agreement allows Jordan and Egypt to provide a surplus of crude oil and natural gas in Iraq, as well as the export of Iraqi gas through Jordan and Egypt through the Arab Gas Pipeline ..
