Iraq, Jordan and Egypt in the direction of creating a new oil pipeline from Basra to Aqaba

Adel Abdul Mahdi, Iraq's oil minister said he discussed with the Iraqi Business Council in Amman the latest developments around the Basra oil pipeline - especially new obstacle course.
Abdul-Mahdi added that Jordan, Iraq and Egypt agreed on a parallel line starts from Basra and on to the modern and passes near the Saudi border to the city of Zarqa and Aqaba to them related to Egypt later.
The Iraqi government approved an additional path for the implementation of the project adjacent to the Saudi border project and provide additional features highlighted by shortening the line distance carrier reduces its cost, which is one of the levers of joint Arab action.
