Lending (10) thousand small enterprises to alleviate poverty in Iraq

BAGHDAD / JD / .. lent the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs ten thousand beneficiaries of the poorest groups in society within the strategy of poverty alleviation, in Baghdad and the provinces except for the Kurdistan region to set up small income-generating projects for the period from 12/01/2012 till 09/30/2015 .
A spokesman for the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs Ammar Menem in a written statement received / JD / copy of it: that the ministry lent (9924) a small project to the poorest groups in society covered Bstratejah poverty alleviation they (the widows and divorced women heads of households, and people with disabilities from the poor , families unstable in places landfill, and those released from prison who learned the profession in prison, and the beggars of the people of the province without the other, and the unemployed poor, especially breadwinners for their families, covered by soft former loan program has not been granted the loan, and the displaced returning to their home areas) , in Baghdad and the provinces except for Kurdistan region for the period from 01/12/2012 until 09/30/2015, referring to lend (1590) project within the strategy of poverty alleviation for the duration of 2-1 until this year.
He added that allocated for the amount (the national strategy to alleviate poverty) the last three years amounted to 429 billion dinars, of which 22 billion dinars just to balance in 2015, to finance small-scale projects in poorer provinces for specific categories of segments of society that suffer from poverty as a result of unemployment and deprivation, pointing out that the highest percentage lending was in the province of Diwaniyah as it was (in 1745) a project followed by the province of Muthanna as it lent the (1565) project and Dhi Qar lend (1028) project within the strategy either in the capital Baghdad Vtm lending (692) project in.
and between Menem: that the ministry is seeking through the implementation of the strategy to integrate marginalized groups in economic and social life and turning them from consumer items to the actors productive, enabling them to set up individual projects small income-generating, through the provision of small loans paid in the form of annual installments over eight years with grant grace period of one year , and without the benefits arising out of the amount, as well as an effective mechanism for the implementation of these projects, noting that the upper limit for the amount of the loan does not exceed ten million Iraqi dinars. / End / 22 /
