UNICEF: More than a million Iraqi children living in areas under the control of Daash

Baghdad - INA / revealed the UNICEF Children's Fund of the United Nations, on Saturday, the existence of about a million Iraqi children living in areas controlled by the terrorist organization Daash north and west of the country.
The director of the organization's office in the central region in a speech during the 11 Annual Conference for the Defense of the Rights of the Child, held by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, said that "more than three million people in Iraq affected by the middle of last year's events."
"It is estimated that more than a million children living in areas controlled by armed groups," noting that these children "at risk of sexual abuse, intimidation and Tjennithmvi in addition to the psychological damage which they are exposed."
