Parliamentary blocs to reduce the share of the 17% of the budget of Kurdistan

BAGHDAD / Obelisk: MP Haider Mawla, Saturday, that the political blocs in the House of Representatives agreed to the reduction of the proportion of the Kurdistan region in the annual financial budget for next year.
Mawla said in a statement, said that 'there is an agreement within the House of Representatives to reduce the share of the Kurdistan region, amounting to 17 percent in the 2016 budget, as the Parliament is working to cancel the paragraph in the budget and adjusted'.
He added that 'the amendment requires that in the absence of the province's obligation to pay amounts of oil from the source or the government's obligation to pay dues each region will be in a solution of oil and financial obligations and this is inconsistent with the terms of the budget'.
He explained that 'the region's share of the appointments in the budget reached 23 percent, and this is incompatible with the reality on the ground, not in line with the population of the region', pointing out that the 'balance of appointments ago how is this percentage allocation to the region'.
