Said economist Abdul Hassan al-Shammari, Thursday, said the cabinet decision obliging ministries to deal with the Ministry of Industry will support the local product companies and investment budget of the country, calling on the government to activate the four economic laws to stimulate the non-oil resources.
Al-Shammari said for "Sky Press," that "the Cabinet's recent decision, which obligates all ministries to deal with the Ministry of Industry companies exclusively support the national product and reduces foreign imports In addition, he will support the investment budget for the country, because it would create a federal budget additional resources from non-oil."
He added that "this decision should be accompanied by measures, including a package to activate the four economic laws such as the customs tariff and consumer protection and the protection of the product and taxes, in order to support the local product, and the achievement of food security for the country."
The Council of Ministers decided at its last meeting held on Tuesday, requiring all ministries to deal with the products and the Ministry of Industry companies exclusively.
