Ashour: Iraq Cabinet deadline did not impose preventive measures against corruption

Iraqiya advisor Hani Ashour announced that Iraq’s Cabinet 100 day deadline which ended on Tuesday did not impose any preventive measures against parties involved in corruption despite the many cases of corruption that were opened during this deadline in addition to corruption files at the Integrity Commission.
The 100 day deadline gave a chance for people implicated in corruption to pursue their mischievous acts as they felt covered by the deadline not exposed, Ashour argued.
Prime Minister Nuri Al Maliki has missed a great chance in order to gain the satisfaction of the people, he concluded, a source told Alsumaria.
