Iraqiya leader Iyad Allawi noted that the failure of national partnership in Iraq requires holding early elections.
Holding early elections is well accepted by Iraqis, Allawi said.
In a statement to Al Sharq Al Awsat Newspaper, Allawi said he doesn’t mind forming a political majority.
However, we believe that the State of Law forms a political majority. We can ally with Kurdistan Alliance, the Supreme Council and some parties of the National Alliance to form a majority, Allawi argued.
Nuri Al Maliki is not the only one who can rally majority despite international and support to him, Allawi said stressing that if democracy is followed, other parties can form majority, he concluded.
