A delegation of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh with the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, HE Mr. Ali Keywords ways of cooperation between the two sides.
The delegation, headed by Mr. Ahmed Obeidat, Executive Director of the Office of Baghdad, the various services provided by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, in particular with in the areas of information and risk management technology, and expressed the group's readiness to provide various professional services through Baghdad office and his staff are trained and highly qualified.
For his part Keywords confirmed that the Central Bank of Iraq is fully prepared to cooperate with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, especially in areas that are consistent with the objectives of the Central Bank of Egypt regarding the application of compatible work practices with the best international standards.
The discussions included the need to develop a plan for the training and development of human resources of the Central Bank of Iraq in the field of information technology, and the Bank plan and extensive efforts to obtain certification in the themes associated with the application of international standards for information technology.
Keywords and said that the general approach now is to develop banking services and the introduction of new banking products and electronic payment systems based on advanced technologies to meet the challenges facing the banking sector, and the establishment of an advanced control system for all electronic banking activities and services.
And Prof. Berg Vartineyan director of information technology consulting in the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh presented to the Governor of the Central Bank about the work of the audit and evaluation mechanism of information technology.
During the visit by the delegation from the Regional Office for the group to Baghdad, the Office of the Professor Salem Alaoura Executive Director of the International Arab Academy for Certified Public Accountants signed a training agreement with the Iraqi Association of private banks to train all departments staff risk management in Iraqi banks through a specialized course in the field of risk management.
On the sidelines of the visit of Iraqi private banks association held a workshop entitled (IT Development) based on the instructions of the Central Bank of Iraq with the participation of 90 employees in Iraqi banks.
During the workshop, addressed by representatives of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and Microsoft and Oracle Corporation to talk about the importance of corporate governance, information management and risk management technology based on global calibrator.
