Standard & Poor's affirmed its credit rating for Iraq at B- / B with a stable outlook, but predicted that the reduction in oil production would affect economic growth in 2017.
The credit rating agency has given a stable outlook to expectations of continued budget control efforts in the next few years.
Standard & Poor's said the rating received support from Iraqi oil production being concentrated in areas under the firm control of the federal government.
