The Secretary-General of the Iraqi Council of Ministers Mahdi Alalak, on Sunday, that the federal government is continuing its measures to control the ports and border areas in Kurdistan according to the Constitution.
He explained in a press statement that Prime Minister Haider Abadi addressed all outstanding issues with the region peacefully through negotiations and dialogue away from any military friction does not agree with the concept of citizenship as well as the need to apply the articles of the Constitution in a sound and transparent.
He called on the need to keep the federal government responsible for those areas and management by them directly until the resolution of the disputed areas in a transparent manner, adding that Abadi expressed willingness to pay salaries of employees in the Kurdistan region when the federal government has taken over the production and export of oil in the region .
