U.S. President Barack Obama and eight other leaders, they have made good progress on a trade agreement for the Pacific and the expected completion in 2012.

Obama said after meeting the leaders of the countries participating in the proposed agreement for the partnership across the Pacific during the annual summit meeting of the Forum on Economic Cooperation Asia-Pacific (APEC) that "our findings for the nine main lines of the Convention.

"There are still many details to be formulated, but we are confident we can do that. Therefore, we direct our teams for the completion of this Convention during the next year. It's an ambitious goal, but we are optimistic that we can achieve."

And went Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to a greater extent, even though the absence in the joint statement of the leaders of the partnership agreement across the Pacific targeting a specific date.

He said Najib told reporters, "We have reached a broad agreement that it should be July our appointment the final."

With Europe facing a crisis, the Obama administration believes that the Asia-Pacific, which is growing rapidly is the key to boost exports and create jobs to reduce the high level of unemployment in the United States.

And expressed Japan's third-largest economy in the world's attention on Friday to join the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Brunei, Chile and Peru in this Convention.

And will this agreement with Japan's accession to it to create the largest regional economic group by about 40 percent of the European Union, composed of 27 countries.

And look to Canada and Mexico, the Philippines and Papua New Guinea and South Korea as potential participants in the Convention.

Obama will host the annual meeting of APEC, which includes 21 members and includes also China's second largest economy in the world after the United States. Did not ask China to join the partnership agreement talks across the Pacific.

The aim of this Convention to the phasing out of customs tariffs on most goods traded between Member States within ten years and to address "issues of the twenty-century atheist," such as the role of state-owned enterprises in commerce and government innovation policies and data flow across the border.
