BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraq is facing the challenge of encouraging investments and utilizing human resources in health, education, housing, agriculture, electricity and environment, Deputy Premier said here today.
In a statement issued by his office, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, Saleh al-Mutlaq said, during the Investment Forum at the National Investment Commission, that Iraq is facing the challenges of encouraging investments.
He added that the amendments made by the government on the Investment Law is a clear sign of the Iraqi desire to widely open the doors before the investment process in the country.
Mutlaq pointed out the additional pribviliges of the law regarding tax exemptions, capital and profits movement and foreign labor.
