Iraq's President discusses with his Vice-Presidents holding national conference for political forces

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraq's President Jalal Talabani has conferred with his two Vice-Presidents on Wednesday, calling on all political forces
in his country to hold a national conference that satisfies the willingness of all Iraqis during the forthcoming phase, a Presidential statement
reported on Thursday.
"President Talabani has conferred with his 2 Vice-Presidents Tareq al-Hashimy and Khudhier al-Khuzae on the discussion of the current issues
in the country," the statement, copy of which was received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency stressed.
"The meeting had concentrated on exerting efforts to strengthen the alliance of the political forces and taking strong and active measures, after
the withdrawal of the American forces from Iraq, beginning with contacts with leaders of all political forces and groups, to gather them in a general
national conference, satisfying the wills of all Iraqis in the forthcoming phase and to enter a new united and powerful arena," the statement
confirmed.
